2010-2011 Boys Basketball

Welcome to the 2010-11 season! Thank you for your interest in the CCYS boys basketball program. CCYS offers a basketball program that competes against other youth clubs in the Arapahoe Youth League.  Participation is available to youth grades 2nd through 6th. New this year is the addition of a 6th grade league.  The AYL is sponsoring a New Year's tournament to be held January 1 - 2, 2011. 

Games and Practices:
Practices begin in early November and will be held at the Cherry Creek Schools in the Denver Tech Center area on weeknights (usually 2 practices a week). Games begin in early December with a 2 week break over the holidays. The season runs through the middle of February. Games are held on Fridays and Saturdays.

Registration:
The registration process will begin Sept. 1, 2010. The cost for early registration is $165 and will take place from Sept 1 -Oct 20, 2010. After October 20, registration  fees will increase to $190, and will be accepted only if there is still space on a team. Cancellation fees are $25.00 up until Nov 15, 2010.  After Nov 15, 2010, there will be no refunds for players that decide not to play.  

Coaches:
Head coaches are required to submit a Coaches Application by October 31 by email to treasurer@creeksports.com  or by mail to CCYS, P.O. Box 4158, Englewood, CO 80155. If you have already coached another sport in 2010 and have submitted your application, you are not required to submit another one. All coaches need to contact the new Basketball Commissioner, Kyle Linhardt if they are planning on coaching this year.

Uniforms:
The same uniforms that were used last year will be used for this season. Uniforms are available at Sports Authority Team Sports on County Line Road. Please contact your coach for your jersey number before purchasing your uniform. We cannot have duplicate jersey numbers.
